Memorable Morocco
An 11 day private touring itinerary for great memories!
Day One - Arrival in Morocco
Option One
If flying from Australia you will arrive into Casablanca Airport. Your driver will be waiting for you once you complete customs and immigration formalities. Transfer directly from the Airport to the capital of Morocco, Rabat. The journey is approx one hour - along a relatively new freeway.
Option Two

For those travelling directly to Rabat there is time to relax before dinner
and see some of the sights of this engaging city. Rabat is the capital
of the Kingdom of Morocco ruled by King Mohammed VI whose
palace is located in Rabat. Here you will also have your first experience
of a Medina – the name usually given to the original part of an Arab town.
Rabat has a selection of very good restaurants either in the Modern city, the Medina or overlooking the sea. We can organize dinner at one of these restaurants or offer suggestions if you prefer to be independent.
Accommodation: Based on your chosen standard of accommodation.
Day Two
After an early breakfast the day commences with a visit to the Mausoleum of the late King Hassan before commencing the drive to the Imperial city of Meknes. Meknes was the capital of Morocco during the rule of the revered tyrant Moulay Ismail. He ruled Morocco for 55 years and much evidence of his long rule remains. Near Meknes there are the remarkably well preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis with its vibrant mosaics and spectacular setting. This is one of the best Roman ruins you will see anywhere.
